By enrolling in a course or purchasing a service through this website (https://airschool.co.za), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. General Information

Air School Paragliding offers:

  • Online paragliding courses and digital educational content

  • In-person paragliding training, including student licensing and mentorship

  • Tandem paragliding flights conducted by certified instructors

All services are provided with safety, professionalism, and instructional excellence in mind. You must be at least 18 years old (or have guardian consent) to participate in any of our services.

2. Payment & Access

Online Courses

  • All prices are listed in ZAR (South African Rand) and include VAT if applicable.

  • Full payment is required before access is granted to the course material.

  • Access is typically lifetime unless otherwise stated on the course page.

In-Person Services

  • A deposit or full payment may be required to confirm your booking.

  • Payment terms for tandem flights and training will be communicated in your booking confirmation.

  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in forfeiture of payment (see Section 5).

3. Course Usage & Student Responsibility

Online Courses

  • Access is for individual use only. Sharing login details or redistributing course materials is prohibited.

  • Progress tracking, quizzes, and course support are limited to the registered student.

  • Misuse may result in revoked access without a refund.

In-Person Training

  • Students must follow all safety protocols and the instructor’s instructions during ground handling and flight training.

  • You agree to inform your instructor of any medical conditions that may affect your training.

  • We reserve the right to discontinue instruction if a student’s behaviour or fitness compromises safety.

4. Refund Policy

Online Courses

No refunds are available for any Online Course purchases

In-Person Services

  • Refunds are not guaranteed for cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled training session or tandem flight.

  • Weather-related postponements are rescheduled, refunds are at the discretion of Air School Paragliding.

  • Deposits for student training programs are partially refundable up to 7 days before your course start date, minus a 10% admin fee.

Refunds (when approved) are processed within 7 working days.

5. Safety and Liability Disclaimer

Paragliding is a high-risk adventure activity. By participating, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • You fly or train at your own risk

  • Air School Paragliding and its instructors are not liable for injury, death, or loss resulting from participation in any of our services

  • In-person participants may be required to sign a risk acceptance waiver before starting any activity

We uphold strict safety standards, but ultimate responsibility lies with the participant.

6. Weather & Operational Conditions

Paragliding is highly weather-dependent. We reserve the right to reschedule flights or training based on:

  • Wind conditions, rain, thermal activity, or other safety factors

  • Instructor availability and operational readiness

You will be contacted as early as possible if rescheduling is required.

7. Intellectual Property

All digital content (videos, guides, quizzes, course materials) and in-person training methods remain the intellectual property of Air School Paragliding. You may not copy, record, or redistribute any content without written consent.

8. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of our services or website implies acceptance of any changes.
